dated for 1879 and issued to New South Wales Police, with 2 1/2in. ovoid barrel, applied crescent fore-sight, the top-strap with sighting groove and signed 'P. WEBLEY & SON, LONDON & BIRMINGHAM', solid frame, the left hand side marked '.450', together with 'WEBLEY'S M.P.' above and below the manacled wrists trademark and further stamped '1879 N.S.W. POLICE', fluted cylinder, chequered walnut flared one-piece grip, oval heel-plate with lanyard ring ground off and guarded trigger, traces of finish
